Photograms and Rayographs
A lot like cyanotypes, photograms and rayographs are captured on light sensitive paper. But, unlike the shades of blue that cyanotypes are made of, photograms are black and white. They are made in Dark Rooms: rooms with no light except a dim red light. This red light doesn't develop the photo, and so is safe to use. You place objects on the paper in the desired shape and take it to a cubicle in the dark room that has a white light inside it. You place the paper underneath the light and turn it on for 10 seconds. Once the light is off, you then take the paper quickly to the developer. Then, take it out of the developer and place it in the stop bath (be careful not to mix the chemicals.) and after that, put it in the fixer this keeps the image from developing even more.
